Arterra Design & Build is a founder-led design-build firm based in Los Angeles. Since 2020, we’ve completed 300+ residential projects across the Westside, the Valley, and greater LA – earning a reputation built on craftsmanship, accountability, and lasting trust.
We specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, ADUs, full-home remodels, and new construction. As a family-centered company that proudly employs U.S. veterans, we intentionally take on a limited number of projects each year, giving every home the attention, care, and oversight it deserves.
Before launching Arterra, our team spent years working across every side of residential construction – from design and sales to project management and hands-on building. Along the way, we saw firsthand what made projects succeed, and what caused them to fall apart. We recognized a gap between what homeowners were promised and what they actually experienced.
We built Arterra to close that gap.

The roof needed more than just new panels. The rear slope had sagged from years of water pooling. We decided on metal roof replacement and had them reframe the rear section. After they removed the shingles, they rebuilt the slope to match the original pitch and added sheathing and waterproofing. Once the framing was fixed, they installed standing seam metal panels across the roof. Ridge caps, valleys, and drip edges were all upgraded. They also updated all flashing, including around the attic vents. It now looks sharp and feels much sturdier than before. It was done right.

May, 2026I wanted a simple accessory unit to give my mom her own space while staying nearby. I had a few builders come out, but Arterra were the only ones who took the time to walk the lot properly and explain what would work. We ended up with a one-bed, one-bath ADU that sits about 25 feet from the main home. The structure was up in less than two weeks after permits, and the finishes followed quickly after. The space is quiet, easy to maintain, and doesn’t feel cramped. The best part is, she loves it. I’d recommend them to anyone.

Their design was simple: swap the tub for a full-width shower, move the toilet by two feet, and go with open shelving instead of bulky cabinets. It worked.
